This dumbbell bar is compatible with φ50mm Olympic plates, which is rare for a dumbbell bar.

Most dumbbell bars are compatible with φ28mm plates, so they cannot be used by people who only have Olympic plates, but even those people can create dumbbells of various weights with this dumbbell shaft.
