■What is a Hex Bar?
A hex bar is a hexagonal shaped bar that allows for particularly effective training of the back, leg, and gluteal muscles, such as for deadlifts.

■Features

The biggest feature is that compared to regular deadlifts with a bar, you can pull the bar closer to the center of your body, which means you can train with less strain on your lower back.

In standard deadlifts with a bar, the bar is always in front of your body, so if you don't use the correct form, you risk bending your lower back and putting a lot of strain on your lower back.

When deadlifting with a hex bar, the grip is positioned to the side of the body, and the bar's trajectory passes along the central axis of the body, greatly reducing the strain on the lower back.

This makes it much easier to focus on the muscles in your back, legs, and glutes compared to deadlifts with a regular bar, allowing for safe and effective training.

In recent years, it has come to be used not only by ordinary gym trainees, but also by top athletes in rugby, American football, baseball, and other sports to improve their athletic performance.

Overseas installation review

The brand stickers were falling off, which I don't think is a big deal, but I am concerned that the textured powder coating will cause problems with plate loading.

Response from the manufacturer

It is very rare for the sticker to peel off. This product has been sold to health club chains for over 10 years and has been well-received. There should be no problems with loading and unloading the plates.

It's durable and a great value, and the bars are sturdy and easy to rack and load plates.
