Weight error 0.3%

Because the difference between weights can be as little as a few hundred grams, the weight accuracy of the plates is crucial. IVANKO OCB Rubber Weightlifting Olympic Plates have a weight error of just 0.3% or less. For example, for a 20kg plate, the error is an astonishing 6g or less. The secret lies in the weight fine-tuning mechanisms in two places. No matter how carefully they are made, the iron parts that make up the weight and the rubber coating alone cannot maintain such weight accuracy. Therefore, pockets are created in the plates, and weights are inserted into them, allowing the weight to be adjusted by hand. (See the weight fine-tuning mechanism in the second image.)

Rubber coating for peace of mind even if dropped

These plates are made of the highest quality natural rubber, which is crack-resistant and covered with an extra-thick coating. Since weightlifting competitions often involve dropping plates from high places, these plates are designed to withstand the impact and last a long time. The rubber is also very soft, reducing noise and vibration when dropped.

All diameters are the same

Since they are designed to be dropped, the diameter size is the same for all weights. If the sizes were different, the load would be placed on the plate with the largest diameter when dropped. If all the diameters were the same, the load would be absorbed by all the plates, dispersing the impact.
